An observational, descriptive correlational, retrospective and cross-sectional study was carried out, between March 2020 and September 2021. The study population was made up of all children enrolled in the second and third year of life in three Nursery Schools belonging to the Vedado Teaching Polyclinic in the Plaza de la Revolución Municipality, which constituted the universe of this study. Aims: Visual support of the TEACCH program has been reported to be effective in communicating new tasks in dentistry in ASD (ASD), but the need for routine activity remains unclear. Patients with ASD were investigated for their need for visual support in routine activity of regular dental check-ups. Methods: Altogether, 36 patients with ASD were investigated in terms of sex, age, visual support in daily life, developmental age, severe behavioral disorder, and dental experience by interviewing caregivers or parents. Introduction: Tuberculosis (TBC) is usually a chronic pulmonary disease with a high prevalence in developing countries, which carries a significant mortality rate. Lymph node involvement remains the most common extrapulmonary involvement of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. However, the clinical picture of TBC in the head and neck area can be varied and often misleading. Case report: We present a 13-year-old female with diffuse hard painful submandibular swelling with intact skin that develops gradually over a week. She presented with misdiagnosis and poor initial dental treatment. The patient was diagnosed with right submandibular TBC lymphadenitis based on histopathological report and confirmed by a positive QuantiFERON TB test. Objective: This study analyzes the importance and performance of dental hygienists for Covid infection management. It is intended to increase the clinical performance for Covid infection management by dental hygienists and to provide basic data for blocking coronavirus.
