The essence of Einstein’s world lies in the concept of relativity. He described it once in the following way: “When you sit with a nice girl for two hours, it seems like two minutes. When you sit on a hot stove for two minutes, it seems like two hours; that’s relativity he said.” Einstein also boldly stated that there are no absolute quantities, that the magnitude of quantities depends on the relative velocity between an object and the observer, and that every event and measurement is viewed differently depending on the observer’s velocity......

Epoxy coatings are widely applied on steel structures due to their high adhesion strength and corrosion resistant properties. The transient environmental conditions and photo degradation could limit their long-term performance in many outdoor applications. The addition of different types of fillers could significantly change their barrier properties. In this study we investigated the corrosion performance of epoxy coatings on AISI 1040 steel after addition of different inorganic fillers i.e. TiO2, Fe2O3, ZnO and graphite according to ASTM G-50 and ASTM B-117 standards. The effect of various fillers on the adhesion and degradation behavior of epoxy coatings after exposure to atmosphere and saline solutions was estimated by visual inspection and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The significant loss in ad.....

Like most of material culture, food shapes the society’s identity and cultural existence. But very often it puts the members of a community into a dilemma; the dilemma revolving round strict adherence to identity or making the food-based boundary more flexible and accommodative of other categories of food into one’s own system. At present, scientific and clinical investigations target food to assess the proper nutritive value of the food items preferred or prescribed and strictly followed by the community members to whom traditional food items are the markers of social identity......

This paper presents the need of diagnosing Neurological disorders related to Alzheimer’s disease (AD) as well as Parkinson Disease (PD) by analyzing both EEG and Speech Signal. Research papers discuss about the various approaches in the analysis of Alzheimer’s disease by extracting the electrical activity of brain signals. EEG systems are widely used to extract brain signals as they are quite capable of measuring Electrical activities of the brain but possess very poor spatial resolution and will be contaminated with various artifacts. Current Surveys indicate that about 70% - 90% of patients suffering with Parkinson’s disease exhibit dysphonic (Impairment in speaking ability) symptoms; thereby speech signal analysis is widely used to diagnose PD. Due to ambient environment, motion artifacts the speech quality may be varied which ma.....

Antimony and its compounds are mainly used in the preparation of paints, flame-proofing materials, ceramic enamels, pottery, and glass as well as in the treatment of leishmaniasis. This study analyzes the effect of the Trivedi Effect®-Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment on the physicochemical and thermal properties of antimony in comparison to the untreated sample. The sample was divided into control and treated parts. The control part has not received any treatment; while the treated part was received the Trivedi Effect®-Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment by a renowned Biofield Energy Healer, Dahryn Trivedi, remotely. The particle size distribution of the treated antimony powder at d10, d50, d90, and D (4,3) was significantly altered by 4.05%, -1.40%, 11.92%, and 7.69%, respectively, compared to the control sample. Over the past years, defensive immunity has been recognized as having an important role as a front-line mechanism and as an integral part of the adaptive immune response. Immunity in One Humped Camel (Camelus dromedarius) exposed too many diseases are spleen-dependent. In this review, we discuss the general aspects of the gross anatomy of the spleen (both internal and external), based on location, position, relation, blood supply and innervations of the organ. The micro-architecture of the camel anatomy was discussed using eosin and hematoxylene stain and the cells visible in the aspect of normal tissue histology. The aim of the write-up is to examine the anatomy of the different sections in the spleen of the one-humped camel (Camelus dromedaries).....

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has recently highlighted the possibility of a curious Disease X with potential to cause an international public health emergency. This research update details the progress to-date at identifying potential outbreaks of Disease X. During these outbreaks’ medical admissions and deaths, but not surgical, increase for an approximate 12-month duration, before reverting to the baseline level. These outbreaks appear to initiate most commonly in the interval from the end of winter to the end of spring. A range of medical admissions increase which seemingly have a common immune function linkage, possibly related to certain types of inflammatory response. Research on alternative immune steady states presents a possible basis for this on/off switching of population health. As t.....

Present study deals with the investigation of the magnitude of toxic elements in commonly consumed vegetables grown in the
vicinity of a Fertilizer Factory and evaluate the degree of health risk burden due to dietary intake of those vegetables as well. The
vegetable samples showed greatest probabilities of toxic elements (Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As and Pb) contamination depending on
their species and locations. To find out the possible source of contaminants, soil samples from where the vegetable samples were
collected were also analysed. In most cases concentration of all the elements (Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As and Pb) in soil samples are
equal to or near the suggestive world average value. To find out the solubilisation of these contaminants, soil-plant Transfer Factor
(TF) was also calculated and the value obtained are below 1 i.....
