Abstract
This article provides an overall review of the indications and safety of paediatric dental procedures performed under general
anaesthesia. This pharmacological management of children with anxiety, systemic health considerations and special needs in a
controlled hospital setting facilitates the provision of safe and effective treatment with successful outcomes.
