Abstract
Mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) have attracted extensive attention as efficient drug delivery carriers on account of its
adjustable pore size, specific surface area, stability, and good biocompatibility. This review summarizes the recent advances on the
application of gated MSNs for controlled drug delivery. These advanced technologies demonstrate current challenges and provide a
bright future for precision of cancer treatment.
