Abstract

The failure of parental identification references underlies difficulties in the harmonious construction of the personality. J. BOWLBY emphasized the deficiencies in attachment to the mother, M. KEIN brought as for the clarification of the negative impact during the early ages, of disturbances in mental development, notably impulsive during the primitive stages, his new conceptions in relation to the central position of the Oedipal conflict arousing lively debates with Anna FREUD within the British psychoanalytic society. D.W. WINNICOTT, who developed the conceptual notion of “Transitional Objects” and completed the elaborative work concerning the constitution of a harmonious Psyche. Any psychological study, as for the determinism of a transgressive enactment or in that of disorders of conduct and behavior with social impact in particular, must take into account in depth, the search for a failure of the paternal reference.

Introduction

The role of parental deficiencies in the genesis of psychopathological manifestations resulting from disorders of Identification and weakness of the Self-Image against a background of insecure narcissism, of poor regulation in the coherent establishment of good internal objects and in the dysfunction of the anti-excitation mechanisms, involving the implementation of operating psychic defence mechanisms, has mainly been the subject of study in the works on psychotic dissociative disorders and to a lesser extent in borderline personality disorders. When personality disorders are coloured by a dissocial impact, with ease of implementation, often transgressive, the concept relating to the name psychopathy is not very enlightening, especially since it refers to nomological conceptions.

Before continuing, as for the sequelae of deficiencies or hazards during evolutionary evolution, whether it is dependent on deficiencies in mothering or a relative emotional defect, support or even an identifying support from a father who was too absent - as was Captain RIMBAUD, whose son ARTHUR unconsciously ended up looking for traces of it by also going on a pilgrimage to AFRICA, abandoning the delights and honours linked to the fulminating creation of gushing poetry, we would not like to forget to mention the constitutional aspects, such as two brothers, even twins, will not have the same evolution, the same reactions depending on the impact of the environment on their genetic heritage, yet so close, the modification of genes can even occur depending on the arrangement of proteins at the level of the mitochondria in connection with their lived experiences, nor the existential conditionings operating.

Subsidiary Relationships Can be Disrupted for Various Reasons

a. Reluctance on both sides in exchanges: Expectations, both emotionally, cognitively and intellectually, can be disappointing on both sides. For example, the child is disobedient, even defiant/opponent for no obvious reason or, on the contrary, is very efficient and very clever, being able to surpass his father, or even upset and humiliate him.

b. If it is obvious that if the father has psychological or addictive disorders, the child can more easily enter into conflict with his father, which is perhaps less frequent than the disinvestment of the paternal image by participating in a gang of marginalized young people and/or by indulging in drug use.

c. If the misunderstanding or the risk of submersion/ overcoming of the father can rarely reach the search for an escape: running away vs. abandoning the home or violent acts that can go as far as filicide or parricide.

d. Conflicts could reach extremes, leading to recourse to infantry or parricide. Antiquity shows many exemplary cases, such as the ideas of elimination of ALEXANDRE by his father PHILIP of MACEDON, after his remarriage and the birth of an new heir. His assassination was probably instigated by the mother of ALEXANDE, Olympias of EPIRUS, fearing this act, which allowed the latter to become the great conqueror of PERSIA after his victories against DARIUS III. Also the attempt of ACRISIOS against PERSEE, locked in a barrel with his mother DANAE, which wa thrown into the sea. Without to forget the Gods in Greek antiquity, the murder of CESAR on the steps of the Capitol and his lasts words to BRUTUS:”You too my son”. In European history, we can still cxite Ivan the Terrible or even the king of PRUSSIA, who executed the very close friend of the one, who would become FREDERIC II [1-3].

Conclusion

The development of this research will need to be pursued in a more exhaustive manner. We will conclude in a somewhat shortened manner on a new observation, which will require confirmation: with recent data from biologists, who have noted changes in gray matter of the parents, after the birth of a child and in the father, a small drop in testosterone production.
