Abstract
The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between Eating Disorder (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa,
Binge Eating Disorders) and the personality traits of institutionalized drug users. Methodologically, there was a cross-sectional nonexperimental
design of descriptive correlational type, with a non-probabilistic sample of 60 interns aged between 18 and 60 years
(M = 32.5, SD = 9.6) from three rehabilitation centers in the city of Ecuador basin. Two scales were applied to the EAT-40 and the
Millon III Test. The results show that there is no statistically significant relationship.
