Abstract
Head and neck cancer is a major health problem worldwide. It is a major global health unit , with about half a million new
cases diagnosed per year and their incidence appears to be increasing in developing countries[1]. The cancer and cancer therapies
are associated with morbidities that may negatively affect the quality of life from the time of diagnosis , during and after cancer
treatment and continue throughout the life of the patient [2]. The aim of this article is to isolate and describe the oral side effects
arising only from chemotherapy and focus on the dental management of these patient.
